General louver grating
Louver grating is a metal grating system designed with angled louver bars fixed between vertical bearing bars by pressing or welding. The inclined bar arrangement helps block direct sightlines from selected viewing angles while still allowing air, light and heat to pass through the panel.
Compared with standard bar grating, where cross bars are usually arranged at right angles to the bearing bars, louver grating uses an angled structure to provide better visual screening and design flexibility. The louver angle can generally be customized from 10° to 50° in 5° increments, with common options such as 30° and 45°. This makes it suitable for projects that require privacy protection, ventilation performance and a clean architectural appearance.
